ABOUT OUR DOGS
Northwind’s Belle
NA 106 (II) UT 190 (III) -- A friend once described Belle as a “Prada Princess” and we call her the supermodel of the hunting dog world. A lean, mean, bird finding machine Belle is a maniac in the field but also appreciates the finer things in life, like sleeping on the couch and cuddling with her people. Belle's hard-running search in the field makes your heart pound and when she points you know there will be a bird at the end of her nose. She’s also a tenacious waterfowl dog.
Sunnynook’s Qrecca
NA 108 (I) -- If Belle is our Prada Princess then Qrecca is our hard-hat wearing Carhart girl. Qrecca is the workhorse of the bunch, and will never stop trying she’s a little black dog that is all heart. Once she has her chew bones organized and has patrolled the perimeter she’s also a loving companion in the house. While an excellent upland dog she truly shines when hunting waterfowl she is a patient sentinel waiting for a flock to come in, and won’t let cold water, ice, or other obstacles get in her way. Qrecca's tracking ability is the standard against which all other dogs should be judged.

SaskElkana’s Annapurna
NA 110 (I), AHAE 155 -- “Annie” was the only female in our A litter. She is a joy to be around and works hard to please us. Her pointing instinct, like all of the A litter, has been incredibly strong from the beginning, and she also shines in the area of tracking. In her Natural Ability test she found and pointed eight birds in the bird field in 20 minutes! In the house she is extremely affectionate and loves nothing more than snuggling up in bed. Annie's spectacular hunting drive and ability show that the apple didn't fall far from the tree. She certainly has the field tenacity that makes her mom such a great dog, and is showing all the signs that Belle's great abilities are passed on to her pups.

SaskElkana’s Bhumi
HAE 59 -- We kept Bhumi from our B litter. More info on her to come soon...
